Submission Types
CHIIR 2025 will accept submissions of the following types: full papers, perspective papers, short papers, demos and resources, workshops, tutorials, doctoral consortium papers.
For CHIIR 2025, we will be using the new TAPS based ACM workflow, including original submission in a single-column format. For Microsoft Word users, instructions are at: https://www.acm.org/publications/taps/word-template-workflow. Overall instructions are at this link. As a result, our guidelines are in terms of word length. More specific requirements for particular submission types are found in the call for papers.
Anonymisation
For full/perspective and short papers, the review process is DOUBLE-BLIND. Authors need to ensure that all the paper content and supplementary material is anonymised (i.e., the reviewers SHOULD NOT be able to determine who you are). For demo/resource, workshop, tutorial, and doctoral consortium papers, the review process is SINGLE-BLIND. Authors should NOT anonymise their work.
Use of AI
All submissions must comply with the ACM policy on the use of artificial intelligence.
Dual Submission
No concurrent or dual submission: Full/perspective and short/demo/resource paper submissions should NOT be currently under review at another publication venue.
Submission Method
All submissions are via Easychair. All deadline times are anywhere in the world, 11:59pm.
